PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance interest by increasing chances for generating a special game state in a combination type game machine. SOLUTION: This combination type game machine is provided with a pattern display device 31 for stopping and displaying a pattern after variably displaying the pattern under a specific condition, a variable ball entering device for opening a first generator operation port 32 when the pattern of the pattern display device 31 is a specific pattern, and a special game generating device for increasing a probability of displaying stopping when the pattern of the pattern display device 31 is the specific pattern only in a unit game of a predetermined frequency when a game ball entering the first generator operation port 32 enters a specific area, to enable an opening state of the first generator operation port 32 when starting the first unit game after finishing the special game state.
