A homogenous polymer mixture comprises 80 to 99 parts by weight of a styrene-acrylonitrile copolymer and 20 to 1 parts by weight of a synthetic linear polycarbonamide containing recurring amide groups in the polymer chain, e.g. nylon 66 and nylon 6, the total amount of the two resins being 100 parts by weight. The copolymer comprises 65 to 90% by weight of styrene and 35 to 10% by weight of acrylonitrile. Pigments and fillers may be included in the compositions prior to shaping into moulded articles.
