Composite profile (1), especially for windows, doors and facade elements, comprises an outer profile (2), an inner profile (3), and at least two insulating bars (4, 5) connecting the outer and inner profiles. The outer profile, inner profile and insulating bars have cavity walls forming a cavity (6) containing at least one heat-insulating molded body (11, 12). The molded body is fixed on at least one cavity wall and is supported with at least one support projection (15) on at least one additional cavity wall or on an additional molded body, preferably without play. The support protrusion protrudes from the surface of the molded body. The cavity has at least one free space (17-19) in which the molded body can expand on warming. |
