PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stopper for an outset sliding door capable of preventing rebounding of the outset sliding door when stopping and swing of its lower part. SOLUTION: This stopper for the outset sliding door is composed of a stopper receiving device 2 attached to a bottom part of the outset sliding door 3 and the stopper 1 attached above a floor just below the outset sliding door 3. A stopper member 12 attracted by a magnet 24 is pivotally supported on the stopper 1 so as to incline and turn obliquely and upward from a horizontal position. The magnet 24 is attached to the stopper receiving device 2 so as to swing in accordance with adsorptive action of the stopper member 12. Consequently, rebounding of the sliding door when stopping and swing of the lower part are prevented, and the magnet follows the stopper member to attract satisfactorily even when a clearance between the sliding door and a floor surface is changed.
