PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent breakage of a signal unload circuit when starting a supply of a bias high voltage in a flat panel type radiation detector. SOLUTION: This equipment is so formed that a power output supply start control part 7 constantly starts the supply of the bias high voltage to a common electrode 3 of the FPD 2, after making the signal unload circuit 5 of the flat panel type radiation detector (FPD) 2 operate previously and enter into a stable circuit state, so as to prevent excessive accumulation of charges in a TFT (thin-film field effect transistor) when starting the supply of the bias high voltage and surely prevent the breakage of the signal unload circuit of the FPD 2 when starting the supply of the bias high voltage. A power output supply stop control part 8 constantly stops the supply of the bias high voltage to the common electrode 3 of the FPD 2 while the signal unload circuit 5 of the FPD 2 is operated in the stable circuit state to prevent the excessive accumulation of the charges in the TFT when stopping the supply of the bias high voltage and to surely prevent the breakage of the signal unload circuit of FPD when stopping the supply of the bias high voltage.
