FLAME-RETARDANT RESIN COMPOSITION AND MOLDING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a flame-retardant resin composition having excellent flame retardance and impact resistance. SOLUTION: The flame-retardant resin composition comprises (A) a styrene-based resin and (B) boron oxide and is obtained by mixing 100 parts by mass of (A) the styrene-based resin obtained by polymerizing an aromatic vinyl compound or copolymerizing an aromatic vinyl compound with another vinyl monomer copolymerizable with the aromatic vinyl compound in the presence or absence of a rubber-like polymer with 0.5-100 parts by mass of (B) boron oxide. The flame-retardant resin composition may further comprise 0.1-50 parts by mass of (C) a silicone compound and 0.5-50 parts by mass of (D) a nitrogen-containing compound. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
