<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image output device and the like, which can designate display conditions on a user's side, and which can enhance operability by rapidly performing display processing and selection processing of image data. <P>SOLUTION: The image output device 101 displays a display condition designating screen 601 (step 502). A date folder 602 is displayed as a selection item of a display condition on the screen 601 for each date (each photographing date and time and each creation date and time). The date 603, a representative image 604, the number 605 of the image data, etc. are collectively displayed in the date folder 602. The user designates the display condition (the photographing date) by selecting the date folder 602 on the screen 601 (step 503).
