PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select a desired template image and synthesize a target image in a predetermined position on the selected template image. SOLUTION: An image synthesizer stores in advance template image data, and mask image data and image information corresponding to the data. When a user selects a desired template image, mask image data representing a mask image corresponding to the template image and synthesis information are acquired. With the template image data, mask image data and synthesis information, a target image prepared by the user is synthesized in a predetermined position on the template image, and is displayed and printed.
