PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new microchip, which is an open well type having no input/output port. SOLUTION: The microchip comprising a first substrate and a second substrate. which is affixed to the first substrate, wherein the first substrate is formed of an elastomer material, the micro chip has a channel of predetermined width and depth on the surface of either the first substrate or the second substrate, and at least one hollow needle for the input/output port is impaled and provided so as to communicate to the channel from the external surface of the first substrate, is provided.
