PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the length of treatment step and a treatment time by increasing a treatment effect in one treatment stage. SOLUTION: A can treatment method is disclosed, wherein at least one of various types of treatments including polishing, roughing, cutting, removal of print, removal of adhered matter, removal of refuse, removal of contamination, and washing is performed for the surfaces of a can (1). To treat the four peripheral surfaces of the can 1 by moving treatment devices 11, the four peripheral surfaces are simultaneously treated in the longitudinal and lateral directions to solve the problem.
