<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To identify each of attributes of a plurality of video data while downloading content data wherein the plurality of video data with different attributes are intermingled. <P>SOLUTION: When receiving the distribution of content data 151 wherein normal data (video data) 151-2 comprising frame data of a normal size and wide data (video data) 151-1, 151-3 comprising frame data of a wide size are intermingled, an information processing apparatus recognizes each of the video data during downloading and segments the video data from the contents data 151, temporarily stores the video data to each of different files F0 to F2, respectively, and records the data with a preset attribute, e.g., the wide data 151-1, 151-3 corresponding to the wide size to a DVD 7.
