PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking apparatus for a game machine which can effectively reinforces the front door of the game machine. SOLUTION: A longitudinal base frame body 1 having a mounting plate 2 and a support plate 3 is formed in a roughly L- or U-shaped cross section and hook members 4 and 5 are pivoted at the upper and lower parts of the support plate 3. The upper and lower hook members 4 and 5 are linked with a link rod 6 slidably installed within the base frame body 1. The base frame body 1 is mounted longitudinally inside the front door 21 of the game machine. One end part of the upper side frame 16 of the base frame body 1 is linked at the right angle to the upper end part and the one end part of the lower side frame 17 of the base frame body 1 is linked at the right angle to the lower end part. The upper end part of a door hinge side vertical frame 18 is linked to the other end part of the upper side frame 16 and the lower end part of the door hinge side vertical frame 18 to the other end part of the lower side frame 17. The upper side frame 16, the lower side frame 17 and the door hinge side vertical frame 18 are formed out of a longitudinal frame with a roughly L- or U-shaped cross section and makes a rectangular frame 15 together with the base frame body 1.
