PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring method and a measuring system capable of easily and accurately measuring height. SOLUTION: At least two fan-shaped laser beams 152a, 152b, 153 are radiated from light emitting parts 131a, 131b on each of a pair of rotating laser apparatuses 151a, 151b arranged at a vertical interval in such a way that their axes C are matched with each other. The laser beams from both light emitting parts 131a, 131b are detected by a light receiving part 156 of a light receiving sensor device 154 with a time deviation. On the basis of time intervals t of detection of the fan-shaped laser beams 152a, 152b, 153 at the light emitting parts 131a, 131b, anglesα,βof intersection each between lines 17 and 19 connecting the light emitting parts 131a, 131b to the light receiving part 156 and a horizontal reference line of the light receiving sensor 154 are determined. The height H of the light receiving part 156 from a ground level GL1 is determined on the basis of the anglesα,βof intersection and height information (A, L) from the ground level GL1 at which the rotating laser apparatuses 151a, 151b of the light emitting parts 131a, 131b are installed.
