PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a banking structure on which vertical compression force is applied by a tendon and its construction method for saving time and labor for maintenance, simplifying a configuration of a fixation part, and reducing cost. SOLUTION: This banking structure is provided with a lower part horizontal load-bearing plate 2, a reinforcing banking body 3, an upper part horizontal load-bearing plate 5, a member 6 arranged on the upper part horizontal load-bearing plate 5 and having a fulcrum 7, a vertical tendon 9, a member 8 which is provided on the member having the fulcrum and becomes a lever, a fixing tool 10 fixing the vertical tendon 9 in one end part of the member 8 which becomes the lever, and a load adding means for adding fixed tensile load to the vertical tendon 9 acting in the other end part of the member 8 forming the leverage stock.
