PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telescope main body and a telescope which are able to prevent chromatic blurring from occurring on an image picked up with imaging devices due to an influence by longitudinal color aberration. SOLUTION: The terrestrial telescope body 1 of this invention is provided with an objective optical system 11, a focusing means 3 having a focusing ring 32 to be operated in a case of focusing and a focusing lens 31 to be moved in the direction of the optical axis by operating the focusing ring 32, and a CCD 16 as the imaging devices for picking up an image obtained by the objective optical system 11 and the focusing lens 31, and is characterized by being provided with an ultraviolet-ray cut filter as an ultraviolet-ray removal means for removing the light of wavelengths near the ultraviolet region included in the light made incident to the CCD 16.
