PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a cooking stove maintaining a favorable combustion state, and having favorable maintainability in regard to the cooking stove using gas, petroleum, or the like for fuel. SOLUTION: A trivet is provided above a burner 1 provided with an annular flame hole plate 2 provided with vertically long slit like flame hole parts 7 in a row, and the slit like flame hole part 7 is composed by alternately combining a long slit flame hole group 13 and a short slit flame hole group 14 with one type or more lengths. Since the shortest flame is positioned directly below a pawl part 20 by arranging the pawl part 20 of the trivet 21 above a shortest slit flame hole group 17, overheating of the pawl part 20 can be prevented even when a distance between the pawl part 20 and the burner 1 is reduced, and as a result, high thermal efficiency can be secured.
