<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide merchandise information suitable for the buyer side while reducing trouble in the seller side at net auction. <P>SOLUTION: The physical distribution system comprises a net auction function to perform an exhibition and bid of merchandise through a communications network 6. The system comprises: a member's store side terminal device 2a, which is installed in the member's store group 2 for temporarily keeping merchandise 7 concerning exhibition, which issues a deposit receipt on the basis of the exhibitor information and merchandise information related to an exhibitor 4, and in which the transport information for transporting the merchandise 7 is entered; a management center side terminal device 1a, which is installed in a management center 1, and which updates the merchandise information on the basis of appraisal results of the merchandise 7 transferred from the member's store group 2; a merchandise control database 11 for storing information associated with merchandise transport from the member's store group 2; a terminal 1b for generating and displaying the exhibition information on the basis of the exhibitor information and updated merchandise information; and a server 10 for distributing the exhibition information and receiving the bid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
