PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a silver halide color photosensitive material which is superior in color reproducibility and color forming properties, and ensures a small fog density variation, when a bleaching solution or a bleach-fixing solution mixes into a color development solution. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the silver halide color photosensitive material by coating the top of a support with at least one photosensitive layer comprising gelatin, a photosensitive silver halide emulsion and a dye forming coupler represented by Formula (a) and carrying out drying in a drying step, the photosensitive layer is exposed to a drying zone (I) at a dry-bulb temperature of 40-60°C for 30-120 seconds, in a drying region ranging from water content ((the amount of free water)/(the mass of gelatin)×100(%)) of≤500% to the end of drying.
