A workholding fixture device (4) adapted to supporting workpieces (P) having elongated shape of prevailing longitudinal extension (E), surrounded by at least one side surface; the device (4) is associable with machine tools (6) having at least one toolholding head (114) for the machining of workpieces (P). The device (4) comprises a body (10) adapted to supporting gripping means (16) the workpiece (P), the body (10) having a base (22) adapted to interacting with supporting means (28) of the workholding fixture device (4) and comprising a reference surface (A), with at least one line of reference (1) for the workpiece (P), said line of reference (1) forming an angle (alpha) with respect to the base (22) in such a manner that, in one gripping configuration of the workpiece (P) by the gripping means (16), the workpiece (P) has at least one part of its side surface which is accessible by the toolholding head (114) along the entire prevailing extension thereof (E) and the ends P', P''. |
