<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and reliably fix a plurality of optical sheets, in a liquid crystal display. <P>SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal display, provided with a liquid crystal display panel having a liquid crystal layer interposed between a pair of substrates and an illuminating means provided on the surface opposite to a display surface of the liquid crystal display panel, a protrusion part 1 is provided at the sidewall of a housing body, the protrusion part 1 is inserted into holes provided at the plurality of optical sheets 6, 7 and 8 disposed in the inner part of the housing body to fix the plurality of optical sheets 6, 7 and 8, and the length along a straight line of an upper flat shape of the tip part of the protrusion part 1 is made larger than the length of the holes formed at the plurality of optical sheets 6, 7 and 8, to prevent falling-out of the plurality of optical sheets 6, 7 and 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
