PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stretch spun fiber product composed of a fabric having excellent chemical resistance and high recovery, and also having excellent shape stability; and to provide a method for producing the fiber product. SOLUTION: The woven or knitted fabric comprises a crosslinked polyolefin elastic fiber and a cellulosic staple fiber, and has≥15% constant load elongation, 50% recovery from the elongation, and grade≥3 rating in wrinkle judgement after laundry. The fiber product composed of the woven or knitted fabric is produced by weaving or knitting a composite yarn comprising the cellulosic staple fiber having≤50 wt.% cellulose type I crystalline structure based on the whole crystal, and the elastic fiber, subjecting the woven or knitted fabric to a crosslinking treatment by a vapor-phase formalin processing method so that the content of the formalin bonded to the cellulose may be≥0.5 wt.%.
