<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walker allowing a user to easily climb over a step without tumbling. <P>SOLUTION: Front wheels 22 are structured to rotate forward/backward with an arm rotation shaft 36 as the center of rotation. The front wheels 22 usually abut to stoppers in the front with springs, but are pressed by the step and raised backward when the walker comes to the step. Accordingly, the walker can easily climb over the step without the front wheels 22 being caught in the step. The front wheels 22 are attached to a body of the walker in such a way that an axle 32 is in front of the arm rotation shaft 36. Accordingly, the front wheels 22 are prevented from being raised accidentally because of the load applied by the user, and therefore, there is no danger of the user's tumbling because of the unexpected motion of the front wheels 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
