<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a current mirror type level converting circuit that the output signal level is lowered by a voltage drop due to a through current flowing constantly through a transistor at the output section and thereby an output signal having a maximum amplitude cannot be taken out. <P>SOLUTION: In a boot strap type level converting circuit 10, potential of VDD is applied to the gate of an MOS transistor Qp19 by a second power supply circuit 14 when an MOS transistor Qp18 is turned on and the potential of that gate is boosted close to the VDD potential thus turning the MOS transistor Qp19 completely off. When the MOS transistor Qp19 is turned on, potential of VDD is applied to the gate of the MOS transistor Qp18 by a first power supply circuit 13 and the potential of that gate is boosted close to the VDD potential thus turning the MOS transistor Qp18 completely off so that a through current does not flow into the circuit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
