PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To have a neat external appearance of a crotch part by preventing the thickening of a fold part of a diaper and surely prevent the leakage of feces by storing and retaining the feces. SOLUTION: This disposable diaper 1 is provided with an absorbent body 8 composed of pulp and superabsorbent polymer between a liquid permeable inner sheet 2 and a liquid impermeable outer sheet 3, with a liquid diffusion sheet 11 interposed between the absorbent body 8 and the inner sheet 3. A feces storage area 13 is provided at a position corresponding to an evacuation part on the rear side of the longitudinally central position 12 of the crotch part 6, and the feces storage area 13 has a part 15 provided in the absorbent body 8 with a lower areal density of the super-absorbent polymer than the areal density of other parts.
