<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-color thermal recording material which can obtain a clear color tone, wherein low temperature color tone hardly mixes with high temperature color tone, and exhibits excellent chemical resistance and good light resistance in a recording portion. <P>SOLUTION: In the multi-color thermal recording material having on a support a thermal coloring layer containing two or more sorts of dye precursors coloring into different color tones and a coloring agent for coloring the dye precursor, the thermal coloring layer contains composite particles comprising an organic polymer and a first dye precursor to color black, solid particles comprising a second dye precursor to color the same color tone as the first dye precursor, solid particles comprising a third dye precursor to color different color tones from the first dye precursor, and the coloring agent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
