PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-furnace carrying device for treatment material capable of performing a walking beam carriage by stable and smooth motions with a simple structure not only in a furnace with general length but also even in a furnace with an elongated furnace length. SOLUTION: In this in-furnace carrying device, in order to support and move a movable beam 3 movable upward/downward and forward/backward into a heat treatment furnace 4 adapted to perform the walking beam carriage of a treatment material M while transferring it between a fixed beam 2 having posts 8 arranged at intervals in the furnace length direction and the movable beam 3, rotating rollers 5 which are allowed to abut thereon from under and normally/reversely rotated are provided apart from each other in the furnace length direction through the furnace in the furnace lateral direction, and lifting mechanisms 6 for raising and lowering the rotating rollers in order to move the movable beam upward and downward are arranged on the side of the furnace out of the furnace.
