BINDER FOR ELECTRODE OF ELECTRIC DOUBLE LAYER CAPACITOR

摘要

Disclosed is a binder for electrodes of electric double layer capacitors which is composed of such a polymer that forms a polymer film having a tensile stress at 100% elongation of not more than 2 MPa and an elongation at break of not less than 450%. This binder enables to form an electrode having high electrode density and high bonding strength. Also disclosed are a binder composition for electrodes of electric double layer capacitors which contains such a binder, a slurry composition for electrodes of electric double layer capacitors, an electrode produced by using such a slurry composition, and an electric double layer capacitor with high capacitance and low internal resistance which comprises such an electrode.
