The device has a curtain wall (1) with density equal to that of a liquid (5) in which the device is immersed. The curtain wall slides on uprights (2) connected to a fixed structure (3), and permits, in its upper part, to pass the liquid on an adjustable height. A collector or a compartment (6) collects the liquid by a draining, sucking or pumping system (7). A seal is placed between the wall and the uprights.
