The system has a box closed at its front end by a front wall and on sides by lateral walls (4). The box has a chain (7) arranged transversally on both sides of the lateral walls. The chain assures good gap between the lateral walls. The system is raised during unloading an open carrier, to provide an additional height. The chain is fixed to a hydraulic jack (5), at each of its ends. An independent claim is also included for a transport vehicle comprising an open carrier that includes a reinforcing system.
