Prepreg and method for its preparation, composite and use thereof

A shapable prepreg comprises fibers and a polymeric matrix, which is a multiphase matrix comprising a first matrix component consisting of a monomer or a dendrimer, a second matrix component consisting of high molecular weight organic molecules. The second matrix component forms a sticky membrane of the prepreg with an interpenetrating polymer network (IPN) bonding to the first matrix component. Preferably, the prepreg further comprises a third matrix component consisting of high molecular weight organic molecules, said third component is distributed between the fibers.
