摘要 <p>Process for calibrating a 3D measuring device (1) comprises measuring one or more characteristic bodies (15, 16, 17) of a reference body (14) at one or more positions in the measurement volume (12) to be calibrated of the 3D measuring device. The measured values are used to determine a value for the measurement error according to the position in the measurement volume, and from this value an error correction function is determined. An independent claim is also included for a process for determining the 3D coordinates of a measurement object using a 3D measuring device.</p>
