The film scanner (1) has a broadband light source, a film platform (2) with at least one light passage (3), an imaging optical system, time delay integration photoelectric sensors (20-24) that form at least one red, green and blue channel and at least one light separating element (5-8) on the side of the platform remote from the source, whereby the sub-beams are focussed on the associated sensors and are converted into spectrally filtered sub-beams.
