PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cup holder for an automobile, stably supporting drink containers of various sizes and solving the problems of noise generated by drifting of the drink container and spilling of drink. SOLUTION: This cup holder for an automobile is composed of: a rotary bushing for selectively constraining the rotation on a rotating shaft; a support bed mounted on the upper side of the rotary bushing; and a button means connected to the rotary bushing through a locking part provided on the support bed to rotate the rotary bushing and the support bed together and causing the locking part to press or release the rotary bushing by the operation.
