PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening and closing device capable of maintaining a proper closing condition of an opening part. SOLUTION: This opening and closing device 1 is provided with an elevating opening and closing body 7 having an insertion part 6 in a side end part and capable of opening and closing the opening part 2. This opening and closing device 1 is provided with a guide body 3 having an engaging receive part for locking and guiding the opening and closing body 7 while the insertion part 6 is inserted. The insertion part 6 of the opening and closing body 7 is provided with a locking body 23 preventing the insertion part 6 from slipping out of the guide body 3 by engaging with the engaging receive part for locking. An engaging receive recessed part for preventing the opening and closing body 7 from being lifted by engaging with the locking body 23 is formed by cutting it out in the engaging receive part for locking of the guide body 3.
