摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Cu-Cr based alloy suitably usable in both of etching working and press (blanking) working and attaining the improvement of productivity for a lead frame material, a terminal connector, a switch material or the like. SOLUTION: The copper alloy for an electronic equipment excellent in etching workability and blanking workability contains, by weight, 0.1 to 0.25% Cr, 0.005 to 0.1% Si, 0.l to 0.5% Zn and 0.05 to 0.5% Sn, the weight ratio Cr/Si between Cr and Si being 3 to 25, and the balance copper with inevitable impurities, wherein CrSi compounds having dimensions of 0.05 to 10μm are present in the copper base phase at a piece density of 1×10<SP>3</SP>to 5×10<SP>5</SP>pieces/mm<SP>2</SP>, and also, the dimensions of Cr compounds (other than the CrSi compounds) are controlled to≤10μm.
