PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce unwanted radiation of an electronic endoscope apparatus and to use it preferably even near other apparatus such as an MRI. SOLUTION: The electronic endoscope apparatus comprises a thin and long tubular insertion part 101 including an objective optical system 110 and a solid-state imaging device 111 on a tip part and a signal processing part 106 provided outside an insertion part 101 and provided with at least a solid-state imaging device driving circuit 105 for driving the solid-state imaging device 111. In the electronic endoscope apparatus, at least a horizontal register transfer clock among driving signals sent from the solid-state imaging device driving circuit 105 to the solid-state imaging device 111 is transmitted as a differential signal. The driving signals transmitted as the differential signals are converted to the differential signals by a differential signal driver, transmitted to a differential signal receiver near the solid-state imaging device through a pair of twist pair cables, converted to the original driving signals, and supplied to the solid-state imaging device 111.
