<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary valve enabling cost reduction and downsizing of a drive system, such as a rotary valve capable of easily performing a rotational operation of a rotor while maintaining excellent sealing performance, and managing with a small drive device. <P>SOLUTION: In this seal structure of the rotary valve switchable between a route opening state and a closing state by rotation of the rotor 3 having a passage 2 for short-circuiting an intake route, a loop-shaped sealing member 8 capable of sealing a space between valve wall 7B in the rotor 3 and a peripheral part 20 of ports 5, 6 in a casing 4 is provided. A contact face part sm between the casing 4 and the sealing member 8 is inclined with respect to an outer peripheral face of the rotor 3 so as to bring an upper side face of the contact face part sm close to a rotational shaft center P of the rotor 3 in an opening direction of the contact face part sm, such that the peripheral part 20 is brought into press-contact with the sealing member 8 to block the route in the closing state, and that the contact between the casing 4 and the sealing member 8 is released along with the rotation of the rotor 3 from the closing state toward the opening state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
