PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a display with feeling of transparency, in which an object is disposed inside and the inside object can be visualized or can be shielded. SOLUTION: The display with the feeling of transparency is constructed by surrounding the foreside, the rear side, the right side, the left side and the upper side of the object 3 with thin optical elements 1, individually driving the respective optical elements 1 with a driving circuit, making illumination light from a separately disposed illumination light source 2 irradiate the optical elements 1 so as to control a light ray transmission state and a light ray scattering state of the optical elements 1 and visualizing or shielding the object 3. All the optical elements are optionally made to simultaneously turn into the scattering state with the driving circuit.
