PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an installation space of a panel cover of an operation panel apparatus of a working machine to be made small and to enable nonconformity that a panel face becomes hard to see due to reflection of daylight, or the light to be eliminated. SOLUTION: This apparatus is provided with a cabinet (18) to a front face of which an operation panel (20) is fixed, a guide roller (24) which is freely rotatably fixed to an end of the front face side of an upper face of the cabinet (18) and a panel cover (22) which has a guiding rail (26) freely slidably engaged to the guide roller. The panel cover is disposed to be freely movable between "a closed position" which is located at a front face of the cabinet and which covers the operation panel and "a storing position" which is located at an upper face of the cabinet and which releases the operation panel.
