<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new turmeric-containing composition capable of enough exhibiting usability in functions of protecting and improving a liver function. <P>SOLUTION: This turmeric-containing composition is obtained by mixing the turmeric and squalene or squalane thereinto and uses them as active ingredients. Further, piperine and/or a dietary fiber are preferably mixed into the turmeric-containing composition. Therefore, the new composition has remarkable effects of protecting and improving the liver function, and further more synergistically produces the effects of protecting and improving the liver function, when compared with a case in which the ingredients are separately used. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
