<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To converge light using a concave mirror in order to effectively utilize sunlight and solar cells. <P>SOLUTION: The cooling of the solar cell, and the production of water or hot water using a reverse osmosis membrane if the water is seawater, and using a permeable membrane and an evaporation method if the water is polluted water, are performed concurrently at the time of power generation, in such a way that: a horizontally long cylinder is placed at a light focusing place of a concaved mirror having the same horizontal length of that of the cylinder; the solar cell is attached to the light receiving surface; and making seawater, polluted water and fresh water flow in the cylinder. Furthermore in a coastal desert area, hydrogen and oxygen can be produced by electrolyzing seawater by utilizing the generated electricity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
