PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire a housing container for lipsticks, etc. capable of efficiently preventing a lipstick or the like from coming off of a plate member by absorbing drop impacts without having to increase the number of parts in the case that the lipstick in a housed state is inverted and dropped. SOLUTION: The storage container for lipsticks, etc. is provided with a tube member in which a notch part in an axial direction and notch parts for stoppers formed more in a direction approximately at right angles in the axial direction than sections close a lower part of the notch part are formed; a helical member in which a helical groove arranged in the peripheral part of the tube member is formed; the plate member for supporting the lipstick or the like stored in the tube member in such a way as to vertically move; and an engaging pin which passes through the notch parts of the tube member formed in the plate member and a notch part for a lower stopper to engage with the helical groove of the helical member. A slit for absorbing impacts is formed at a location above the notch part for the lower stopper of the tube member to constitute the housing container for lipsticks, etc. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
