PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device capable of partially identifying a model parameter. SOLUTION: The control device for controlling a controlled target modeled by using first and second model parameters comprises a partial model parameter identification unit for sequentially identifying the second model parameter on the basis of an output from the controlled target and an input to the controlled target; and a controller for calculating a control input to the controlled target by using the previously identified first model parameter and the second model parameter identified by the partial model parameter identification unit. Since it is unnecessary to sequentially identify all the model parameters, the convergence time of the model parameters to an optimum value can be improved and the operation quantity of the identification unit can be reduced.
