PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in a conventional temperature adjusting device that in the case of a microchemical chip, for example, as a member to be temperature-adjusted, temperature adjustment cannot be freely performed flexibly in conformation to positions of various chemical reaction parts of various microchemical chips, particularly, on a user side where the temperature adjusting device is actually used. SOLUTION: This temperature adjusting device comprises a temperature adjusting means having a thermoelectric element and a temperature sensor; a temperature control means for controlling the current to be carried to the thermoelectric element based on the temperature measured by the temperature sensor to adjust the temperature at one end of the temperature adjusting means; a heat exchanging means; and a moving and fixing means for connecting the other end of the temperature adjusting means to the heat exchanging means with satisfactory heat conductivity, and moving and fixing the temperature adjusting means to and in an optional position relative to the heat exchanging means.
