<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a one-way clutch for maintaining normal meshing function and meshing releasing function even in the operation of excessive rotating force by preventing the plastic deformation of a cam face due to the meshing of rollers. <P>SOLUTION: The one-way clutch comprises an inner ring 16, an outer ring 15, the plurality of rollers 17 arranged between the inner ring 16 and the outer ring 15, and the cam face 16b formed on an outer peripheral face 16a of the inner ring 16 or an inner peripheral face 15b of the outer ring 15, where the rollers mesh when the outer ring 15 is rotated relative to the inner ring 16 in one direction and they are released from meshing when it is rotated relative thereto in the other direction.
