PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an imitation rush which is produced by binding thermoplastic synthetic resin films and heating/molding them and composed of a fusion-bonded skin layer and a core part with air voids dispersed randomly and in which a fusion bonding spot, a fusion-bonded skin crack, deflection, etc., are suppressed. SOLUTION: A rolled tape strip 1' of the thermoplastic synthetic resin film is stretched in the longitudinal direction and annealed to make a film raw thread 8, the thread 8 is introduced into a heated binding/molding nozzle 11, and air caught by the thread 8 is discharged through an air vent hole 11P arranged in the contraction part 11M of the nozzle, so that air explosion in a nozzle molding part 11D, the fusion bonding spot, an air explosion crack, etc., are suppressed, and the linear imitation rush easy of weaving is produced.
