PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an applicator for applying a hair color which can easily and surely apply the hair color to hair in such a manner that the brush section is formed into a multiple stage flocked form, and a hair coloring cream is held by the step parts of the brush section. SOLUTION: Three rows of the brush sections are implanted in the longitudinal direction of a base in a manner to form a state without gaps. The height dimension of the brush section at the central row of the brush section is formed to be shorter than the height dimension of the brush sections of the right and left rows which are adjacent. Then, a tapered section by which the distal end section becomes sharp is formed on material bristles which constitute the brush sections of the right and left rows so that the brush section may become flexible and stiff. For the material bristles constituting the brush section of the central row, a flexible one is used for the applicator for applying the hair color. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
