PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable radio terminal device in which an image display unit is disposed on one of a pair of cabinets, and which can adjust the image display unit into an arbitrary posture and position with respect to the other cabinet. SOLUTION: In this portable radio terminal device, a main body cabinet 1 having an operating key 11 disposed in the inside and a cover cabinet 2 having a main display 21 disposed in the inside are coupled so as to be opened/closed via a coupling pivoting mechanism. The coupling pivoting mechanism is provided with a coupling arm 3 for coupling both the cabinets 1, 2 with each other, a first hinge mechanism 31 provided between the base end of the coupling arm 3 and the end of the main cabinet 1 at the cover cabinet 2 side, and a second hinge mechanism 32 provided between the tip end of the coupling arm 3 and the central part of the back surface of the cover cabinet 2.
