An impeller (16) driven ring wing (12) aircraft (10) whose lifting forces are augmented by the release of jets of air (113) from Coanda slots (42) disposed around the exterior edge (32) of t-he ring wing (12). These jets of air (113) entrain the air passing by the ring wing (12) downwardly to act as thrust to lift the aircraft (10). |
