PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a push-button switch body capable of preventing contact failure due to a foreign material or an oxide film, and having a large current capacity. SOLUTION: The push-button switch body comprises a leg part 3 of insulation elastomer with resiliency on the same surface side. As pressed, a contact part with an electrode of a conductive member 4 provided on a surface of the leg part 3 slidingly moves or shifts. The leg part 3 is formed as a smoothly projecting protrusion on both sides of a recessed curbed part 6. The conductive member 4 has an insulation elastomer layer, and a metal thin wire 9 arranged in parallel on the insulation elastomer layer with a certain interval.
